STRIKE!!!

Lindsay was so funny this weekend. As we (Debi and I) where getting ready to go to a concert – Rick Springfield. Before you laugh he put on a great show and if you can move like that at 58 then WOW you’re in shape. So back to the story Lindsay was in the room as I (Mike) was getting one of the few nice shirts I got out of the big closet. I know she never sees me in there other than putting clothes away for mommy. Hey I put some away. I was grabbing shirt which from my section only about less than 1/3 of the whole huge big ass closet Lindsay says, “No those are mommy’s clothes” as I asked which shirt I should wear. How funny she always sees me in a regular tee shirt from the dresser drawers. Never grabbing a collared with buttons shirt. Debi right then tried to even bolster more real-estate in the walk in closet as she said, “see she even thinks it is all mine.” I felt like land grab was happening.

Stay at Home Dad Olympia Local 826 is on STRIKE

Lines have now been drawn and camps are being formed. STRIKE, I say it is time for us stay at home dads to stand up and be heard. I will fight for every single inch of that walk in closet. I am now on a crusade to get more space for all my tee shirts. (75+ different beer insignia shirts) They will all need a hanger and to be hung neatly in color coordination. It is all about priorities I say. Give me more closet space (and other concessions) campaign 2007 has begun. I will strike until I get more space and a few other concessions.

I am looking for the following:

1 - More closet space (.0125%)
2 - Colored hangers matching my shirt colors
3 - A second washer and dryer just for those heavy laundry days
4 - More pizza nights. (Combo Pizzas) Not just Cheese!!!
5 - A bigger beer allowance. Add 5% to already allotted amount.

Until then I will not shave, shower, nor take the dog for potty walks.

I will only eat beans and garlic for lunch and dinner.
And No Breakfast will be ready, warm, wrapped and coffee made!
